I'm an ambitious Entrepreneurship and Information Systems Management double major at Duquesne University with a strong and inventive business sense. I currently work as an intern at the Riverside Center for Innovation under a great management team, and I also do work as a freelance web designer. I recently became the President pro tem of the Duquesne Entrepreneurial Alliance. I grew up in Toronto, Ohio, a small riverside town in the Rust Belt. When other kids were playing baseball, I was inventing my own games when other kids asked for coloring books, I asked for blank paper so I didn't have to color inside of someone else's lines. Instead of listening to music, I wrote it. I carried this mindset into my career, where I want to do something that has always come naturally to me create. My own personal philosophy is that life runs on motivation. Without it, things don't get done. We can make our ideas into realities. A simple sketch on a napkin becomes a revolutionizing new product. A melody being hummed in the shower becomes the chorus of a new song. Thoughts and feelings get written down and made into poetry and expressed to the rest of the world. There's a certain insight that people allow themselves to tap into, and it's really important in our personal and professional development.
